Harry Belafonte Shares His Life Experiences with Students
Civil rights activist and singer Harry Belafonte visited Charlottesville High School Tuesday to speak with students about his life experiences.

Civil rights activist and singer Harry Belafonte visited Charlottesville High School Tuesday to speak with students about his life experiences.

About 800 middle and high school students from across the area visited Charlottesville High School for the event.

During the event students watched the documentary "Sing Your Song." The documentary is about Belafonte's life and his role during the civil rights movement.

After the screening students were able to ask questions. Political analyst Dr. Larry Sabato was also at the event.
