Resale shop Kid to Kid hosted a St. Baldrick's foundation head-shaving event Saturday.
It was all to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research.
Which is why owner Tiffany Reagan decided after having her own child a couple years ago she wanted to fight for a cause.
"I just adored children and the idea of an innocent child getting cancer broke my heart. I decided I'm going to see what I could do to raise money for this organization," said Reagan.
More than 30 people signed up to get their hair buzzed, including a couple, Nick and Sandra side-by-side as they both got their new buzz cuts.
"He was kind of pushing me to do it because I had mentioned to him before any of this, that I wanted to do this once in my life, and he found this event," said Sandra Campos.
Shaved heads are something Sandra sees plenty of at work as she walks through the hallways of the UVa. Medical Center.
"I've seen our patients go through having to shave their heads or they lose it all. I kind of wanted to do it for them," said Campos.
Kid to Kid raised more than $11,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation.
