It was a one-stop-shop to healthy living in Downtown Charlottesville.

Hundreds stopped by the inaugural Healthy Living Expo at the Main Street Arena.

Those who stopped by were able to learn a little bit about what the community has to offer to keep you healthy.

There were free giveaways, tips and even a Zumba class to get everything thinking healthily.

UVa Health System was a big sponsor and their doctors said it was a good opportunity to talk to patients in a more fun, casual setting.

'It's really nice for us to be able to come out and interact with our patients in a more casual setting and explain things on a one-on-one level so they can understand everything better," said Doctor Nicole Deal of the UVa Hand Center.

The Newsplex was an organizer of this event.

Some visitors said it was a great way to pick up some extra suggestions and information right before summer.
