Heay Rainfall Causes Flooding Along Area Road

The drenching rain from Wednesday night resulted in several road closures in Central Virginia.
The driver of one van got stuck in flood waters along Proffit Road in Albemarle County, not far from Route 20.
VDOT posted road closure signs, forcing drivers to find detours.
Flooding was reported on numerous roads in the area, and even forced a 2-hour school delay in Culpeper County for Thursaday morning.
