Highway Safety Institute Expanding

Sept. 30, 2013

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) is expanding its testing facility in Greene County.

Construction at the Ruckersville campus began in March, and is expected to be finished by late 2014.

The project will include a large outdoor test track, a domed vehicle testing area, a new office building and a smaller support building.

The IIHS plans to hire ten more employees when the expansion is complete.
