Fifth Season Gardening hosted 'Homebrew for Hunger' on Saturday, an event to support the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.

The event featured home-brewer and craft brewers, selling out the event by the Thursday.

People could bring donations of canned food, which would earn them raffle tickets, and money from the entry tickets will be given to the Food Bank.

Dozens of home-brewers came out, as well as several local craft breweries, like Champion, Star Hill, and Three Notch'd.

They hope to raise between 5,000 and 6,000 dollars.
