Area Students Perform in All-District Band Concert
More than 900 people attended the All-District Band Concert at Albemarle High School. The standing room only event featured almost 300 students from 40 school across central Virginia.

More than 900 people attended the All-District Band Concert at Albemarle High School. The standing room only event featured almost 300 students from 40 school across central Virginia.
The students had two days of intense rehearsal before their big performance.
"It's a great chance for kids to do this music at a really high level. It is very exciting for the kids," said Albemarle High School Band Director Greg Thomas. "The directors who we bring in to guest conduct on these events are very high energy guys. The kids really value this experience."
Middle and high school students were selected for all-district band after auditioning in front of judges.
