Albemarle County Police make an arrest in an embezzlement investigation dating back to 2008.
Police have charged 40 year-old Mary P. Anderson with one county of embezzlement.
Investigators say, Anderson took $27,024.56 from the Lafayette School and Treatment Center on Fontaine Avenue.
Anderson was the director of the school at the time.
She is now out of jail on bond and awaiting a court date.
