Libertarian candidate for Virginia Governor Robert Sarvis was in Charlottesville on Thursday.

He stopped by the Shebeen restaurant in the Vinegar Hill Shopping Center to talk with supporters and kick off his campaign locally.

Sarvis says that he think Virginia is ready for a third party Governor because voters are getting tired of Democrats and Republicans blaming one another for problems instead of solving them.

He feels that message will be received particularly well in Charlottesville.

"There's a lot of people here who have already expressed very strong support." says Sarvis.

"In Charlottesville we have a lot of supporters, a lot of young people, a lot of people who are looking for something totally different from the Republican and Democratic parties."
