Library Partnering with Va. Discovery Museum

June 23, 2014

Jefferson-Madison Regional Libraries are letting people with library membership check-out free passes to the Virginia Discovery Museum.

The one-week passes are available at all Jefferson-Madison Library branches.

The Virginia Discovery Museum says the new partnership is a great way to get people into the museum.

“We love community partnerships and it's a great way to work with the library and bring in people who maybe haven't been to the museum in a while or have never been before at all,” says Education Manager Kaitlin Clear. “We've got lots of new stuff going on and we want to bring people in to see it and see if they want to come back.”

The passes admit up to four people, can be used an unlimited number of times and can be returned to either the library or museum.

There are four passes available per library branch. They are on a first come, first serve and cannot be renewed.
