The Democratic candidate for governor in Virginia is getting a boost from an Albemarle County businessman.
Bill Crutchfield, the founder and CEO of the Crutchfield Corporation, will announce his endorsement of Terry McAuliffe Monday.
Just last year, Crutchfield supported Republican Mitt Romney for president, even hosting a campaign stop for the ticket at the Albemarle County corporate headquarters.
Crutchfield said he's backing McAuliffe this year because of his plans to grow the state's economy and create jobs.
McAuliffe will join Crutchfield at an event Monday, where the two will tour the electronic store's new location in Albemarle County.
