A local cheerleading team is heading to nationals for the second time in a row. They're the Pop Warner league Steelers. The team features kids between the ages of nine and 11.
They won the regional championships in Raleigh last week but only have one week to prepare a routine to compete against the best of the best in Disney World.
And one simple saying that's keeping them going this week: Practice makes perfect.
"We just have to keep them focused so we can do good during practice, because usually what you do during practice is what you do when you compete. And just keeping them excited and pumped up," said co-captain Ashlyn Scott.
Last year, the team won sixth in the nation and their goal is to place at least fifth place or higher this year.
