Local start-up Storyware have launched a redesign of the Grammys Tumblr site.

Founder Todd Wickersty says the new site has gone live just in time for the 56th annual Grammy awards show on January 26th.

"They've had it for a while now and they update it on a daily basis, and I’ll anticipate that it will be very active as we get closer to the event and the night of the event."

So how did this happen?

"It definitely has been an evolution from i enjoyed using the platform from a personal standpoint about six years ago. And it’s grown since, definitely beyond my wildest imagination.

So what did the Grammys want out of a website?

"Well, the Grammys tumbler site is highly visual. They use it post images, to post animated gifs, to post videos that highlight the artists who are performing who are also up for nominations."

Wickersty says it was all a bit of a whirlwind.

"I have a love for music and a professional background in music. So being able to work with the Grammy’s was both a personal and a professional highlight. For both me and for our company, it’s been a lot of fun."
