The popular Charlottesville night club, The X Lounge, will close after Saturday night. It will soon become a full restaurant.
"When we first opened, we said that we were going to probably going to make some changes after five years," said owner Francois Bladt.
The club has hosted countless events, including the annual “Diamond Dash." The venue will soon go through a transition to a restaurant, and owners are hopeful that some regular patrons will like the change.
"We're very excited about the new concept. Inspired American cuisine will be the feature of the restaurant," said club consultant J.F. Legault.
Club management says they are looking forward to one last celebration Saturday night and to seeing old friends and patrons.
The restaurant, Glass House Kitchen, will take the place of The X Lounge in late October.
