Young skaters hit the ice Saturday evening at the Main Street Arena. Skaters showed off their skills at the 2013 South Atlantic Regional Competitors' Exhibition.
Skaters are preparing for a competition that takes place next week.
"Its a lot of fun. This is one of the things our club looks forward to most this year," said figure skating director Tiffany Thornton. "It's just all of the hard work and training that kids have put in for preparing these programs."
For future champions, ice skating lessons for both adults and children are offered at the arena.
