Getting ready for big New Years celebration Monday night may call for a trip to a local wine shop.
For their New Years Eve plans the owners at Tastings, William Curtis, says he expects it to be a busy weekend.
While some customers might be loyal to just one brand they get every year, Curtis says locally made sparkling wine is a hit because of the great price. But how do you choose which one to get?
"There's two or three points of pressure to make your choices for the holidays. Price, style, dryness and sweetness. So I picked out a tremendous bottle of sparkling wine from Virginia."
With prices going from $15 to $500, picking out your champagne could definitely take some time. And it all depends on what you want to bring for your particular plans, so just leave some time to do so.
