A Louisa County jury has convicted William Henry of felony assault, handing him an additional five years of prison time.
The assault stems from an incident where Henry severely beat a female tenant, resulting in her needing surgery. The tenant had been called to testify against Henry, but was reluctant to as Henry had bribed her by not charging her rent.
Henry was previously convicted of forgery and perjury during his application for court counsel as he had failed to include personal property information.
William Henry is facing over 40 years behind bars for fraud, perjury, and felony wounding.
