Madison County Man Cleared of Several Charges Following Wreck Last October

A Madison County man has several charges dropped in a deadly accident on Old Lynchburg Road this past October.

Prosecutors decided not to pursue charges of DUI maiming against Brandon Wilson.

Prosecutors say testing found traces of marijuana in Wilson’s blood, but there was not enough to prove he was under the influence at the time of the wreck.

Doris Campbell, 33-year-old, was killed in the wreck, hit head-on by Wilson’s car. Monday in court, Wilson was found guilty of reckless driving.
