For this week's segment of Make Dan Sweat, CBS19's Dan Schutte jumped, pushed and slide his way into shape during an athletic conditioning class.

"It pushes me to my limit, and I always feel more energized afterwords. I feel like my whole body has been worked out, not just in one part," said Jody Esselstyn of Clay Fitness.

During the workout, you don't have to lift any weights.

"We do a lot of functional weight training, a lot of dynamic stuff, there were no dumbbells, no hand held things, using body weight the whole time. There is a lot of cardio and weight training and it is a lot more engaging than a traditional body pump style class," explained Hyam Hosny, of Clay Fitness Center.

The class is both engaging and draining.

"I think a lot of people enjoy being challenged, no matter what kind of person they are. I think it is important that everyone works the appropriate level for them," explained Hosny.

The exercise may be hard work, but the pace and variation keep people wanting to step it up.

"Eventually when people get used to it they ask for a 90 minute class, which is coming soon," explained Hosny.
