An Albemarle County man is facing questioning after police said they found a loaded rifle on school grounds.
Albemarle County Police arrested Gary Wade Riner on Friday on charges of possession of a firearm as a convicted felon and DUI.
Police said Riner was intoxicated in the parking lot at Albemarle High School. While he was being questioned an officer spotted the rifle on the front seat of his car.
We're told Riner had family connections at the school.
