Albemarle County Police officers arrested 21 year old Gregory A. Rosson of Crozet after an altercation with police officers at around 9:11 PM on Sunday.
Officer were first called to the 6800 block of Jarmans Gap Road for a verbal disorder.
They ended up finding Rosson at a convenience store parking lot, located in the 7800 block of Rockfish Gap Turnpike.
Police say Rosson became combative with an officer and that it took multiple officers to subdue Rosson, who was physically resisting arrest.
Rosson has been charged with public intoxication, two counts of attempting to assault a law enforcement officer, two counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, obstruction of a law enforcement officer by resisting arrest, attempting to disarm a law enforcement officer, and obstruction of a law enforcement officer by intimidation and threats.
Rosson is being held at the regional jail without bond.
