The man charged in the October shooting death of Jarvis Brown appeared in court on Thursday.
Tsaye Lamar Simpson, 21, appeared via video conference in a Charlottesville court room today.
Simpson was charged with first degree murder, used of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
He was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Charlottesville-Albemarle Joint Security Complex where he was being held on unrelated charges. Simpson continues to be held with no bond.
Police discovered Jarvis Brown's body near the road on Woodland Dr. on Oct. 17th.
He is expected back in court on February 6th.
