Man Sentenced for Charlottesville Stabbing

A Charlottesville man has been sentences for a stabbing outside Buffalo Wild Wings at the Barracks Road Shopping Center.

28-year-old Walter Jermaine Jackson will serve 18 months in prison. Police say he stabbed someone during a fight outside the restaurant.

Another person was charged with recklessly discharging a firearm.

In court, Jackson said the whole incident could have been avoided. He apologized to the victim and his family.
