Nelson County Sheriff's Department is on the hunt for two people wanted in connection with a series of crimes.
Sheriff Brooks told CBS19 the manhunt continued Thursday morning for Johnny Webb Miller and 32-year-old Christy Lynn Voneitzen.
“Our department and the the US Marshal’s service conducted a search Wednesday afternoon in the Greenfield / Afton area, but were unable to locate Miller,” says Sheriff Brooks told Nelson County Life.
Miller is wanted for forcible sodomy, abduction, rape, object sexual penetration, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Authorities believe Miller is in the company of Voneitzen, who is also wanted for rape, forcible sodomy, abduction, object sexual penetration and possession of a controlled substance.
Sheriff Brooks said the two knew the victim of their sex crime and the community is not at risk. He also said he didn't believe Miller and Voneitzen were carrying guns.
The sheriff said the photo that accompanies this story is several years old so Miller's appearance may have changed. Authorities do not have a photo of Voneitzen at this time.
The two were last seen in the Taylor's Creek Road/State Route 633 area. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either Miller or Voneitzen is asked to contact 877-570-8477.
