Not everyone could make it to Gov. Terry McAuliffe's inauguration on Saturday morning.
But that didn't stop some family and friends from taking part.
McAuliffe's 92-year-old mother, Millie, was in the governor's hometown of Syracuse but caught the entire inauguration with some family and friends by streaming it online.
"I'm so proud of him," Millie McAuliffe said. "I can hardly believe this is happening. It's wonderful."
The governor recently made a trip to Syracuse to mark his mother's 92nd birthday in November.
