The Albemarle GOP Headquarters hosted a crowd of more than 150 people to see Sens. John McCain and Lindsey Graham rally for Mitt Romney and the Republican ticket.

"If there were two people I could've met, other than Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan themselves, it would be these two. They're great Republican leaders. They're great leaders, period," Melissa Young, a Charlottesville resident, said.

And it's not only the people eligible to vote who know how important Virginia is in this election.

"This could be the state that selects our new president," 11-year-old Daniel Brown said. "It's important for young people to come to these things and see the energy and meet these really cool people,"

Graham and McCain explained the importance of the commonwealth in this election with only three days left.

"Virginia has the chance to turn it back to the way it should be.
Virginia has the chance to get our economy back on the road to
recovery. And to put a commander in chief in place that's not going to
let four people go eight hours without any help," Graham said.

"There is a way for Mitt Romney to win the presidency without Virginia
but I'll tell you, it would not be easy. We know how important Virginia
is," McCain said.

McCain was in Romney's position four years ago, and he says he remembers exactly what those last few days were like. But he says this time around, there's a lot more at stake.

"This election is probably in many ways more important than the one
that I lost. In my view, we cannot take four more years very easily of
this presidency and his policies. And the debt that they've laid on
our children and grandchildren," he said.

With the finish line quickly approaching, both campaigns have their
eye on the state of Virginia, as time ticks away until Tuesday.
