After no winning ticket in the Mega Millions lottery drawing on Friday night, the jackpot continues to grow.

The new total for the jackpot is an estimate $550 million.

Despite all of that money up for grabs, some people thought Friday's drawing wasn't a big deal. Now, though, they say they're on board and are willing to spend a couple of dollars for the chance at millions.

"I always play when the word gets big," said Tommy Reamon, who bought tickets on Saturday. "If people aren't talking about it, then I don't play. But if everyone around town is saying it's $200, $300 million, I'll spend a couple of dollars and take my chance."

Many of the local markets selling lottery tickets say the best time to buy them is earlier in the day. Lines tend to get longer after 6 p.m.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday at 11 p.m.
