Four-hundred-five men crossed the 50-yard line this morning at Scott Stadium.
That feat comes after running four miles around UVa grounds for the 9th annual Men's Four Miler race. Proceeds benefit prostate cancer research right here in our area.
UVa football coach Mike London kicked off the race at 7:30 Sunday morning leading runners, joggers, fathers and sons.
"Someone talked me into doing the race. I had never done a race before so I said, 'You know what, I'm gonna try to talk my sons into doing it,' and he said I'm all up for it. So we came out and ran this morning, and it was fabulous. We did a great job," Marc Hagen said, who ran with his son Wilson.
The race raised more than $10,000 dollars to benefit prostate cancer research and care.
