Students form Buford Middle School visited the Paramount Theater on Monday, helping to kick-off this year's Arts Education program.
The Arts Education program is meant to give students exposure to the arts and allow them to interact with the performance.
This year, students will get to take place in a artist residency program at their school.
"They're going to do a week-long residency with the artist in addition to the performance that's here today," said Marketing Director Katherine Davis. "It's basically from start to finish, concept, cutting, painting, and all the way through, they're going to end up with a mobile that's built."
There will be a reception at the end of the week at Buford, where students will show off their work.
