A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital after colliding with a car Thursday evening.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Carlton and Monticello Road in Charlottesville. Police say the driver of the car was making a left turn at the intersection when the two collided.
The motorcyclist slid under the car. Witnesses told police they helped pull the victim from underneath the car.
Charges are pending against the driver of the car. The motorcyclist has non-life threatening injuries.
