Police made nearly two dozen arrests at this year's Foxfield spring races, including one man on a felony count of inciting a riot.

In all, 22 people were arrested, some of those on multiple charges. Most were for alcohol-related offenses, like drunk in public or underage drinking.

The person charged with inciting a riot was not successful in his alleged efforts. While no riot ensued, police say the suspect was engaging in behavior that could have encouraged others to begin rioting.

There were also four drug arrests on the day, two for cocaine and two for marijuana.

In comparison, police arrested 37 people on 40 different charges at last year's Foxfield spring races.
