Neil Young Cancels Appearance for Va. Music Festival

August 19, 2013

Neil Young & Crazy Horse announces that they will not be performing at the Interlocken Music Festival in Nelson County in September.

The band has cancelled all of their remaining tour dates due to guitarist Poncho Sampredo injuring his hand.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience this causes to our fans or the Festivals where we were scheduled to appear,” the band has said in a statement. “As you must be, we too are disappointed at this unfortunate turn of events.”

Organizers for the music festival recently announced that more than 15,000 tickets had been sold for the four-day event.

Scheduled performers include The Black Crows, Jimmy Cliff, Widespread Panic, and Hackensaw Boys.
