Nelson Co. Man Accused of Stabbing Charlottesville Teen

Charlottesville Police arrested a Nelson County man for allegedly stabbing an 18-year-old Charlottesville man Friday night.

Police were called Friday to the University of Virginia Medical Center to investigate the stabbing. A spokesman says the victim was stabbed in the 600-block of Ninth Street Southwest after a fight with the suspect.

Police arrested 39-year-old Tony Page in connection with the stabbing. The victim says the two do not know each other.

The Nelson County man was charged with malicious wounding. The victim suffered cuts on both arms and his face, but is expected to be OK.
