Hundreds of people packed Nelson County Middle School, Tuesday night, many of them speaking out against a natural gas pipeline Dominion is proposing.

They're worried about the beauty of the mountains, and what happens when you snake a 3 1/2 wide pipe through them.

Dominion is already asking property owners to let them on their land, so they can survey possible routes for the pipeline.

The biggest cheer of the night came when a supervisor asked if it would be possible for the pipeline to just skip Nelson County.

Dominion said the route can always change, but as of now, Nelson looks to be in the middle of it, regardless.
