Ribbon Officially Cut on New Crozet Library

Well more than a hundred people attended the official ribbon cutting for the new Crozet/Western Albemarle Library on Saturday morning.

While it's been open for about two weeks, the official ribbon cutting was an opportunity to thank the hundreds of people who came together to make the new library happen.

Between donors, volunteers, state and local politicians, fundraisers, and Jefferson-Madison Regional Library officials, the work of hundreds of people when into making the new addition to the library system happen.

The new building features not only more space for books, but also room for community meeting spaces, 30 brand new computers and mountain views.

The fundraising committee is still taking donations, however. There is still space for thousands of new books. Donations can be made at the link below this article.
