New Charges for Would-be House Robbers


Johnny Calderon and Gerald Allen, the two men accused of trying to  rob a home on Fontaine Ave, are now facing a charge of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

A grand jury files an additional charges against two men accused of trying to rob a house on Fontaine Avenue, only to be beaten up by the would-be victims.

Johnny Calderon and Gerald Allen, the two accused robbers, are now facing a charge of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Previously, police had not indicated that either suspect had a weapon at the time.

The University of Virginia students who live at the house told CBS19 they didn't know Calderon and Allen, and they fought back when the two men approached the house.
