NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - A Norfolk plumbing contractor faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to bribing two city workers.

A sentencing hearing for 54-year-old Andrew Zoby Jr. is scheduled for July 10 in U.S. District Court in Norfolk.

Media outlets report that Zoby pleaded guilty Friday to giving money to two city employees in exchange for work. The owner of A.T. Zoby Mechanical admitted giving one worker $15,000 to $20,000 in cash and services over six years. He gave another worker plumbing services worth about $17,000.

The workers weren't identified.

A federal information filed last week charged retired city plumbing supervisor Michael D. Brown with accepting bribes from a contractor.
