(AP) - A nuclear reactor at Dominion Virginia Power's North Anna power plant is operating at full power again.
The utility shut down Unit 2 on Oct. 7 after the operators discovered a seal on a reactor coolant pump was degrading.
Crews replaced the seal package, along with one on another coolant pump, during the shutdown.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch (http://bit.ly/X1fuCc ) says the utility restarted the reactor over the weekend.
North Anna's other reactor, Unit 1, operated at full power during Unit 2's shutdown.
