Tempers boil over in Fluvanna County as leaders debate a water solution for Zion Crossroads.
Members of the Board of Supervisors debated a plan of working with Louisa County to draw water from the James River, and deliver it by pipeline to Zion Crossroads.
One of the biggest issues is how to split the $3.5 million price tag between the counties.
Fluvanna County needs more water at Zion Crossroads so that the area can be more viable for business growth.
"The first rule of getting out of a hole is to stop digging, correct? Second rule is to buy a ladder," says Fluvanna Co. Supervisor Shaun Kenney. "That's your ladder."
Any decision on the water matter has been moved to the board meeting scheduled to take place at the Fluvanna County High School at 7 PM on September 18.
