For the second time in as many days, a single-vehicle crash blocked Route 29 between Charlottesville and North Garden.
The crash happened at 5:30am Friday at Goodwin Farm Lane near Poorhouse Road. Investigators say the car was traveling north on Route 29 when the driver lost control and crossed the median.
The car ended up in the southbound lanes after striking several trees. One person was injured and transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.
Police closed one lane in the southbound direction Friday morning while they cleared the wreckage.
