An online, 24-hour donation drive for area non-profits kicks off tomorrow.

Give4Good - Greater Charlottesville begins accepting donations of at least $10 at 12:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6.

The initiative hopes to encourage donations to local non-profits, like Building Bridges of Charlottesville, which can use the money for new programs.

“A donation could help support one of our individuals to go to a therapeutic horse camp, or we could take a trip as a group to a museum or a local outing in the community,” said Senior Residential Counselor Beth Elliot.

You can donate to organizations in the City of Charlottesville, Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Nelson, and Orange counties.

More than $32,000 in matching funds and cash prizes will amplify charitable contributions.
