The afternoon rain didn't put a damper on the final day of the Orange County Fair.

Visitors picked up right where they left off and stayed for all the food, music and contests on Saturday.

Hundreds have come out since the traditional fair opened up on Thursday and even with the rain in the forecast, one pair of sisters say they would never skip the last day.

"Especially for our younger siblings, it was always like a second Christmas for us because everyone loved coming," said Abbey Cooper, an Orange County resident. "There's always a storm and it's always on the Saturday it seems when you have to hold the tents down and fight the weather."

As the Orange County fair wraps up for 2013, the Greene County fair begins Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
