The 25th annual Toy Lift will be held Friday at Fashion Square Mall, starting at 7:00 am.
The annual event is put on by the Kids Lift Foundation, and provides toys and books to children all over the Albemarle area.
Toy Lift began back in 1988 when founder Tom Powell perched himself eighty feet up in a bucket truck and stayed there until he raised at least 500 toys.
Last year Powell and volunteers collected around 11,000 toys, 2,500 books, and 160 bikes.
All toys donated during Toy Lift go to local families in need.
You can donate on Friday at:
Fashion Square Mall from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Union First Market Bank Pantops from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Rockfish Valley Fire Department from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Ruckersville WalMart from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
