Albemarle County firefighters are investigating an overnight fire at the Harris Teeter on Radford Lane in Crozet.

Firefighters arrived shortly before 2 a.m. Monday morning and found heavy smoke inside the building coming from a storage area.

The building was evacuated and the flames were contained but the cause of the fire remains under investigation. The Fire Marshal's office estimates the property loss for this fire at $25,000.

Nobody was hurt.

Officials say the store will remain closed Tuesday, and will reopen later in the week.
