The Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) opened it's doors to over 50 employers today for their 29th annual job fair.
This is an opportunity for their students as well as members of the community to come out and meet employers as well as interview for different positions.
Some of the businesses that attended the fair were Real Property Incorporated, the University of Virginia and the University of Virginia Health System, as well as Albemarle County Public Schools.
This is the second time that the PVCC asked non-profit organizations to come out and recruit.
"A lot of employers are recruiting, so that tells me that the economy is picking up," says Andre Luck, Career Services manager. "I think, because Spring is here, there is a lot more recruitment in the air, so I feel really good about this job fair."
This is also the second year that Albemarle County Public Schools provided school buses as shuttles for the job fair.
