Pink Fire Trucks in Charlottesville to Raise Caner Awareness

Sept. 9, 2013

The Pink Heals Truck Tour is making its way through Charlottesville. The tour consists of six pink fire engines, raising awareness and support for women battling all types of cancer.

People were invited to come share their stories, and leave messages on the trucks.

"We use fire trucks because a five year old knows what a fire truck means; love, hope, rescue," says Dave Graybill, founder of the Pink Heals Truck Tour. "Painting them pink to celebrate the most important people in our lives and that's women, not breast cancer."

All proceeds will go to the University of Virginia Cancer Center.
