The Buckingham County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man suspected of impersonating a police officer.

A woman said was pulled over on Route 15 South, somewhere between Gieseke Road and Millbrook County Store, on April 25th by a man with a small gray or white car with blue and white lights.

The man told the woman that she had been speeding, had a taillight out, and asked her to step out of the car.

She refused until the man provided identification. The man then grabbed her wrist and tried to pull her out of the car. She fought back and drove away.

The man then followed her, before turning at the Tuggle Road intersection in Prince Edward County.

The suspect is described as a white man with dark brown hair and a long, full beard wearing dark glasses, black pants and a white shirt

Anyone who might have witnessed this stop or may have information about the incident is urged to call the Buckingham Co. Sheriff's Office at (434) 969-1772.
