Police Investigating Reported Robbery on Fontaine Ave.

Charlottesville police are investigating a reported robbery that resulted in a man being hospitalized.

Police responded to the 2300 block of Fontaine Avenue in reference to a robbery around 10 PM on Tuesday.

Officers arrived on the scene and discovered the two suspects were apparently caught and detained by the two victims.

Both suspects, adult males, were taken into custody and are being held at the Charlottesville Albemarle Regional Jail.

Police are continuing their investigation into this case, and will be releasing additional information at a later time.
