Police Investigating Two Robberies in Charlottesville

Charlottesville police are investigating two robberies that happened within minutes of each other.

The first robbery happened about 11:20 PM Monday at the Seven Day Junior, located on 14th Street Northwest. According to police, the store clerk was approached by man who pointed a firearm and robbed the business of an undisclosed about of money. The store clerk was not injured.

The second robbery happened to a person a few minutes later on 10th Street Northwest. Police say a man approached another man and asked for money. No weapons were displayed.
