Albemarle County Police are asking for help in their investigation of a woman hit and killed by a train Monday night.
18 year-old Kimberly Welch was hit on the tracks behind Luck Stone just east of Charlottesville.
The medical examiner's office in Richmond is now continuing the investigation.
Welch does not have a fixed address in Albemarle County. Police are asking anyone with information to call them at (434) 972-4177.
